Renovation:

The word makes me shiver, with happiness? With fear ? With self introspection? I can choose colours for others but when it comes to choosing for myself I need help.  I have already chosen my finishes.  Linen in the dining room, painted ceiling in the kitchen, massive art in the living room and a beautiful stencil going up the stairwell wall.  Now what colours they are going to be are TBA/MIA.

Luckily I will have the support of my husband, my rock, my love, my book keeper…my country farmer:

I am also going through this adventure with my two kids, my life, my heart and my insanity:

Luckly, I am going through this with my crazy talented friend, my Designer,  Jennifer!  She wouldn’t let me take a picture of her as she had a crazy reaction to a facial…stay out of the sun Sista! So I stole this from her site! There will be others.  Sorry Guys – she’s married!

Ok, onto the actual renovation info:

We spent last Saturday choosing fabric, eating amazing ribs and yummy perogies (OMG the Perogies were so good…a perk of being friends with the designer)

Jen advised and DID HER THING FABULOUSLY, I fell in love, Vic helped and the kids played outside on one of the warmest days yet this spring, which was a blessing!!!

We looked and compared: ( it was Vic’s beer – it’s best not to drink and pick fabrics)

WE Loved:

We rationalized and edited, and eat dessert twice…

We decided on this:

You Likey?  I sure do!  Now…to swatch out colours all over my home and make the world sing!!!!

Over the next few months I will write about the changes – some big, some small, some silly and ALL worth while.
